Information We Collect
Information you provide
- Photos you select: Brickart can access images you choose from your Photos library. Brickart only accesses the specific images you select.
Information Brickart generates
- Mosaic outputs: Brickart generates mosaic previews, build guides, and parts lists (including exported PDF/CSV/JSON files).
Information we do not collect
Brickart does not collect:
- Names, email addresses, phone numbers, or account credentials
- Payment information (handled by Apple)
- Location data
- Contacts
- Advertising identifiers
How We Use Information
Brickart uses your selected image only to:
- Convert the image into a mosaic preview and blueprint
- Generate parts lists and export files you request
Where Your Data Is Stored
- Selected images and generated outputs are processed and stored locally on your device.
- Exported files (PDF/CSV/JSON) are saved only when you choose to export them, and they are stored wherever you select (for example, the Files app, iCloud Drive, or another provider you choose).
Sharing of Information
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information.
The only time information may leave your device is when you choose to share or export a file using iOS sharing features (for example, saving to iCloud Drive or sending a file through email). In those cases, the data is handled by the service you select and subject to that service’s privacy policy.
Analytics and Tracking
Brickart does not use third-party advertising SDKs or trackers.
Children’s Privacy
Brickart is intended for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your Choices
- Photos permission: You can allow or deny access to your Photos. Brickart can still work with images you provide in other ways if supported.
- Delete data: You can delete generated projects and exported files by removing them from the app (if applicable) or from the Files app.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect information processed by the app. Because most processing happens on your device, you control your data. No method of storage is 100% secure, but we aim to keep Brickart simple and privacy-focused.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will update the Effective Date above.
